Bishop Charles H. Ellis III apologize pop singer Ariana Grande for touching her inappropriately during the funeral services of Aretha Franklin on Friday. While he apologized about his act, he also mentioned that it was completely unintentionally and don’t know that the Twitter will react on his this act so loudly.
In his recent interview, he also cleared that he would never touch the breast of any women with intention. Bishop Charles H. Ellis III also cleared that he may cross the border and he may be very friendly with the pop singer Ariana Grande but he apologizes of his act once again.
As a tribute, Grande has the rendition of Franklin’s hit “A Natural Woman”, Ellis put his arm around pop singer Grande. Bishop Charles H. Ellis III thanked her for her performance and joked about her singing skill by saying that he wasn’t much familiar about the Grande or her music.
This photos and video when Ellis put his arm around the singer circulated on social media, especially on Twitter where Ellis was grabbing the breast of Grande. After the circulation, the Twitter users also started the trend with hashtag #RespectAriana.
Pop singer Ariana Grande has not released any official statement from her side and still prefer to stay silent. She was one of many popular performers who pay tribute to the Queen of Soul at the Aretha Franklin service. The other singers and musicians who performed at the services included Chaka Khan, Faith Hill, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia Barrino and Clark Sisters etc. They all took the stage to honor Aretha, the music legend. Franklin was died on Aug 16 due to pan creative cancer.
