Billy Joel, the 76-year-old legendary musician, has announced the cancellation of all his upcoming concerts after being diagnosed with a brain condition known as normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH). This condition has affected his hearing, vision, and balance, leading doctors to advise him to stop performing and focus on recovery through physical therapy. Despite the increased fluid, the pressure often remains within normal limits, hence the term “normal pressure.” This condition primarily affects individuals over the age of 60 and is often misdiagnosed due to its subtle and gradual symptoms. 

Symptoms of NPH
