Reis gives the ensemble another performer with recent crime-drama credentials following her role opposite Jodie Foster in True Detective: Night Country. Kesy’s credits include 12 Strong and Hellboy: The Crooked Man, while Rousselle starred in Julia Ducournau’s Titane.

12 12 12 will roll out weekly through Christmas
Apple TV will release the first two episodes on Friday, November 13. The remaining six episodes are scheduled to arrive one per week on Fridays, putting the season finale on December 25.
The series joins a busy slate of high-profile streaming projects, with Apple TV’s upcoming comedy Brothers also recently unveiling its first trailer ahead of a September premiere.
That rollout gives the series a six-week window after its two-episode launch rather than releasing the complete heist at once. For a story whose premise depends on information moving among planning, execution and consequences, the weekly schedule also allows individual revelations to carry from one installment to the next.
The newly announced date represents a substantial step forward for a project that has been developing for some time. Mackie and Dornan were already attached to the series, and additional casting had emerged during production. The August 26 announcement is different because Apple has now paired the first official imagery and teaser with a firm global premiere schedule.

The series gives both stars another major streaming project
Mackie enters 12 12 12 with a television résumé that spans superhero projects, science fiction and drama, while Dornan has increasingly moved between feature films and limited or serialized television. Putting them on opposing sides of a robbery gives the new series a straightforward dramatic engine without revealing which character, if either, ultimately controls the situation.
The first-look material does not disclose the full mechanics of the vault operation or explain why Mackie’s former FBI agent becomes involved. It also leaves the relationships among most of the supporting characters unresolved.
Those omissions preserve the central mystery while establishing the show’s defining device. Rather than simply following a crew into a bank, 12 12 12 intends to show how a major crime changes depending on whether viewers are watching its preparation, the hours when the plan is tested or the days when everyone involved has to live with the outcome.
